|Hello - I live and work in my hometown, San Francisco. In 2008, I received an MFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, focusing on the relationship between the natural world and technology. I am particularly interested in farming and in natural fibers, in part because I've lived in cities (Boston, New York, and San Francisco) almost all my life.
Portfolio #1 contains the series Collection, abstract images of natural animal fibers from farms around the world, including the U.S., New Zealand, and the Himalayas.
Portfolio #2 contains thirteen images from the series Watering, photographed at a farm in Idaho where the seasonal release of water determines the daily working of the farm.
My photographs and artist books have been shown in galleries and museums in the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco City Hall, Marin MOCA, Stinson Beach Gallery, Donna Seager Gallery, and Diego Rivera Gallery, and have been purchased for private collections around the country. The SFMOMA Artists Gallery has carried a selection of my work, from the Watering series of Idaho farm panoramas.
All images are available for shows, sales, and rentals. Please contact me for more information:
